Deb Krier is an entrepreneur, cancer advocate, and the visionary behind tryingnottodie.LIVE. With a background in communications, marketing, and public relations, I've navigated diverse roles, from spearheading communication strategies for large corporations to nonprofit organizations including the American Cancer Society to founding my own marketing agency. My journey took a profound turn when I faced Stage 4 triple positive breast cancer in 2015, followed by a thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2023.

In response to these life-altering challenges, I founded tryingnottodie.LIVE in 2022, a groundbreaking initiative devoted to empowering individuals navigating the labyrinth of cancer. Through this transformative platform, I'm dedicated to inspiring and guiding others to embrace their inner resilience, fostering a supportive community, amplifying voices, and expanding choices. As a dynamic advocate and speaker, I passionately champion resilience, empowerment, and community-building in the face of adversity.

Over the past decade, I've hosted The Business Power Hour™ podcast, nearing an impressive milestone of 950 episodes. Proudly based in Atlanta, Georgia, I am a member of the South Cobb Business Association, the Marietta Business Association, and the West Cobb Business Association. As a co-chapter leader for the Atlanta Chapter of the CU-Boulder Alumni Association and a member of CU’s College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Executive Committee, I am committed to giving back to my alma mater. I hold an MBA degree with a marketing emphasis from the University of Colorado and an MS in communications management from Colorado State University.
